Glodina has asked me to find a buyer for the solar edge se3000 Jaco bought from me when he did my installation. See attached photos. I am based in cape town. selling for 3500.
Just the indoor unit, or optimisers included?

What you see in the Photo is, what i have. Jaco knew what it was for, I just played buyer.

From what I understand it is supposed to increase your capacity when connected to the grid in terms of max kw, is this correct. I bought my victron inverter 2nd hand which he installed and this came along with the deal, Jaco said he could use it somewhere.
The price listed was a AI Suggested price, not sure if this is accurate.
It’s just a PV-inverter. It takes the solar and pushes it directly into the grid. You can combine it with other things to limit grid-feedin.
But the important part, why I asked about optimisers, is that this is just half the system. SolarEdge systems have an optimiser on the roof below each panel. The optimiser steps the panel voltage up to about 400V. The unit below then converts this 400VDC to AC. That is why I asked if you have optimisers as well. Without the optimiser, a potential buyer would also have to go to another supplier and buy optimisers.
The optimiser is technically a boost converter that also operates like an MPPT. By doing it this way, you have MPPT tracking at the panel level, which is advantageous (in theory) when you have partial shading issues.
